A nearly three-year effort to suit the grave of every veteran buried in Taunton with a memorial marker equipped to hold American flags in place is nearly complete.

Community support made Taunton's Global War on Terrorism Memorial possible, organizers say
With Taunton’s Global War on Terrorism Memorial nearly completed, area veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan say they are proud that the city has been so supportive of the cause and look forward to an upcoming dedication ceremony to commemorate the project’s completion.
